Retaliatory Discharge

image402

What is retaliatory discharge?

Workers in both Missouri and Kansas have rights. Almost all employers are required by law to provide worker's compensation benefits to employees injured on the job. However, when an employer has to report injuries, insurance rates climb. This leads to employers attempting to "chill" worker's compensation claims by firing employees that exercise their right to worker's compensation benefits. When an employer terminates a worker in this way, the law provides justice and we can help.
